True crime

Anyone recommend any good, newish true crime podcasts. I've listened to quite a lot already, especially ones like 'They Walk Among Us', 'Redhanded', 'My favourite murder' etc. Listened to all the serial ones and case file etc. Last novel one I listened to was the Fred and Rose Tapes which I thought was good. Not driving for work I've got out of the habit of listening to these podcasts but want to get into it again as, conversely, it's really good distraction for my mental health.

I have listened to pretty much every true crime podcast out there and some are hit and miss! If you liked the story telling aspect of Serial, then try Someone Knows Something. It's Canadian and very slow moving, there are several seasons and they're all good in a gentle, investigative way. You could also try Bear Brook.

I quite enjoy Sinisterhood - sometimes too much chat from the two female American hosts but they do cover some interesting cases, Morbid is similar. Basically, lots of people are emulating My Favorite Murder with varying degrees of success.

I like The Trail Went Cold - they focus on little known unsolved cases. I love Criminal, lots of stand alone stories about small town crimes and weird occurrences with the people involved telling their side.

Let's Not Meet is also listener's creepy stories, some are shocking some are "Umm...really?" But quite good fun. Enjoy!
