Two episodes, on Sounds. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000qjnk This is Episode 1. Episode 2 is going out on Wed 30/12 and isn't available till after that.

After years hiding behind the masks of made-up people, Graham Fellows tells his own story.

I love John Shuttleworth and I really enjoyed Episode 1.

I wonder how much of a crossover there is between fans of JS and fans of Tom Wrigglesworth's Hangups, which I find similarly cosy and sharp and endearing (and Northern, of course).

Absolutely love both of these programmes. Clever, funny, gentle, perceptive.
Have seen John Shuttleworth live many times. He is totally brilliant.

Agree, NotQuite, he is great. I think it was a version of this programme that I saw him do as a live show about 18 months ago when he was taking it round small venues and came to our local place. I got the chance to chat to him afterwards (Graham Fellows, not the immortal John). Swooned slightly, I must admit....
