So tuned in yesterday and again today.
Matt chorley with politics 10am slot was good. Quite jolly but good politics coverage and mariella frostrup after.
High politician count, heard from Boris, matt hancock, alok sharma, jeremy hunt, michael portilo, julia gillard snd a few more.
It's very radio 4 but right of centre / less woke is my impression.
Will keep listening i think as it has a more postive vibe than my usual choices radio 4 and five live. Less doom and gloom and a few chuckles.

Not tried it yet but I like Ayesha Hazarika who has got a slot. It looks as if they will be well placed to get politicians. Interesting development - apparently there are no adverts but programmes can be sponsored.

I caught a bit of Matt Chorley today and really enjoyed it; refreshing and absorbing listening to him interviewing the previous female Prime ministers from Denmark and Australia and interesting discussion with the SNP MP about the Hunting and killing of Cecil the lion (5 year anniversary) and how there is support across all parties for the bill to ban hunting (well bringing back the trophies to U.K.). Looking forward to more in this vein. Will definitely tune in again.

Yes i really enjoyed the two former female pm's bit.
Plus i like the pmq's analysis. This might become my go to now for this time slot.
I liked the focus group bit too. Less London/ woke stuff. More voices from rest of the country.
They had quite a few issues with sound, lines dropping off though. Poor mariela had several.

Anyway for anyone that likes radio 4 i would suggest give it a go.

Yes, I listened to it last week at lunch time and it was good - like Radio 4 without the wokeness as others have said.

I’ll definitely listen again.

Jesus, Radio 4 is not “woke”.
