I put the BOOM! emoticon in the title as I thought it could transition into a vague likeness of a virus if we're still going by early May, when we expect some wild contortions from the production team to get Ambridge back in synch with the rest of the world. I think I would have preferred them to ignore it altogether but I suppose they couldn't.

If it (recuperations, HSE investigations, insurance, modern slavery, etc) spans a long time period it would be much more realistic.

Does Roy not lock his phone? I suppose he might be that stupid, but I would expect it to be something he'd do with a new phone before he got bored with doing it constantly the way one does with an old one.

I think they made a point of showing that Roy didn't know how to use his phone properly so he probably didn't have a password.

Ohhhh ... Yes, not locking his complicated new phone does make sense. (AKA only reasonable explanation for otherwise unlikely story.)

Bit disappointing though - I'd have preferred some other use of the phone. (And I'm not really sure Gav would be clever enough for what seems to be happening.)

Why did the DJ want to talk to Kirsty, if Roy had booked and then cancelled the gig? I would have thought he would simply have contacted Roy to confirm the cancellation -- which is what any sensible person would do if he got a text dated 3am.

Surely not the rooms at the Bull? Will she be pitching a tent in the pub garden? Jolene and Kenton don't have any other property, do they? Or is it just that Jolene has used her contacts to help Emma out?

I originally thought that Emma was planning to move abroad with the children but In thinking about it she need both William and Edward's permission in respect of the relevant children wouldn't she?

Therefore I think she's probably moving far enough away that they won't be able to see each other that often how Jolene is involved no idea .... rubbish script writing again

Also with regards to the wedding wouldnt the full balance have been paid as the wedding is very close by ... has Kirsty bought a new dress or recycling her old one ?

Jolene had put Emma in contact with someone who could rent them a place, hadn't she? Just in time for lockdown.

Have to admit I didn't hear some parts very clearly! Thought the contact was something to do with yet another village shindig Emma's involved in? (Can I be bothered to check? )

Emma can't be moving that far away if she's still on the Parish Council organising VE Day celebrations.

Also she promised Ed that he'd still be able to see the children easily. It's def somewhere unexpected in or around Ambridge.

The only people we know Jolene knows are her ex-husband and the people she recently toured with. Can't see how either of those are likely to be Ambridge-helpful.

What DJ would accept a booking cancellation from Roy, who probably didn't make the booking, that was sent at 3 a.m.?

How come the DJ managed to secure a booking so quickly when the nation is in lockdown?

Why didn't Tracey mention that Gavin slipped an 'energy drink' in Roy's kit bag? I'd be suspicious if I'd seen it.
