I habitually get a week or three behind with TA and then have a catch-up. Just now I was putting in a bit of time on the rowing machine ... headphones on and back to March 5th and 6th. Less than 3 weeks ago, Linda bemoaning the 'disaster' of the launch of The B , Ruth saying she didn't want any more bad news but noting the barn improvements are an investment, Kirsty and Phillip planning their wedding, Freddy worrying about being laid off because of bad drains...

Less than 3 weeks ago, it was like a different world. Maybe some of this is plot set up because the SWs could vaguely see ahead, that Freddy might have more serious worries and weddings are off. (DH and I cancelled our holiday in May to Sicily over a month earlier).

I'm not going near the main thread, my only prediction of how things have developed in ambridge is that Tom and Natasha's online food business should be doing extraordinarily well.

I am up to date but won't give any spoilers.

If Grey Gables isn't up to doing weddings then maybe Lower Loxley could benefit, or the Brookfield barn wedding venue.
Maybe there won't be any weddings at all.

Maybe the B@Ambridge will be buzzing, maybe it'll go under due to a lockdown.
Maybe it's a load of bull.

Maybe Gavin and Emmur will become an item. Maybe Mianed will.

So, have just listened to march 8 and 9th

It starts off with lots of talk about food. Loads of food.

Then, the Boom! Seeing the main thread title I’d been guessing that the Grundies had blown up their barn somehow and thought that seemed a bit excessive at a time when anyone with half a brain could see that possibly we were on the brink of a real life crisis. ConfusedHmm

I've reached March 25th. Still no mention of a pandemic, the topical theme instead seems likely to be modern slavery, achieved via a character transplant for Philip Moss.Hmm
