Eddie's his real father!!!!!!!

MikeUniformMike · 07/11/2020 14:00

But he looked like Alice as a baby.
Bang goes my Debbie and Alice being full siblings theory.

Maybe Adam is his father.

ppeatfruit · 07/11/2020 14:07

Aah of course Mike Grin lol It was Adam trying to discover his sexuality.

MikeUniformMike · 07/11/2020 14:37

Was Adam around then?

I suppose he could be Tim Hathaway's.

MikeUniformMike · 07/11/2020 14:41

Maybe David or Tony's the father, or Kenton.
That would make him an Archer.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 07/11/2020 15:01

I don't think either Adam or Kenton was in Ambridge at the time Ruairi was conceived: didn't Adam only come back to comfort his mother over her having discovered Brian had had an affair, and a child as a result? And Mel threw Kenton out on 7th April 2002, and he didn't get back to Ambridge until 24th, by which time Siobhán already knew she was pregnant and so did Brian and Tim and Janet and Shula and Alistair and Nigel and Elizabeth and...

MikeUniformMike · 07/11/2020 16:38

Might we be barking up the wrong tree? Maybe Ruairi finds something nasty in the woodshed? (the smashed dog statue? A drunk half-sister? )

Wonder what Brian could be on the warpath over?

PoulePouletteEternellement · 07/11/2020 17:04

Oh wow! Exciting ... 🔥🌾🤦🏼‍♂️

(Doesn't seem to be a 'Fall of The House of Aldridge' emoji ...)

Thanks, Asking!

MikeUniformMike · 07/11/2020 17:52

Usually when the spoilers say 'shocking' it is only something mildly surprising.

Maybe the ghost from the past is alcoholism.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 07/11/2020 17:57

I could do with some excitement of a relatively mild nature.

At least next week, we'll have Brine, JD and Hellin.

MoonJelly · 08/11/2020 10:03

The one liners indicate that the week after this one Alice and Chris are having a pretty torrid time. I suspect either someone discovers how much Alice was drinking, or she's due a scan.

ppeatfruit · 08/11/2020 11:16

I'm getting very peed off with the Phil n' Gav, and the, lets carry on duping Kirstie, SL. Anything's better than that.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 08/11/2020 11:24

Gosh, I see what you mean, MoonJelly. I hope Asking will forgive me if I take the liberty of posting the next couple of weeks.

Mon 16/11 There's panic for Alice
Tue 17/11 Alice has a confession to make
Wed 18/11 Chris takes desperate measures
Thu 19/11 The Carters attempt to pick up the pieces
Mon 23/11 Philip turns the screw
Tue 24/11 Eddie puts his plan into action
Wed 25/11 It's an emotional day for Chris
Thu 26/11 Will has serious reservations

Cripes!

Thanks Gasp.

MikeUniformMike · 08/11/2020 13:14

The Chrysalis will be dedded, mark my words.

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/11/2020 13:22

I agree Mike

And thanks Gasp0de

MikeUniformMike · 08/11/2020 14:03

That's it. The something nasty in the gin wood shed is a pile of empties from Alish's bingeing. The Roarer or Brine finds it and the extent of the boozing makes the Aldridge's realise that the poor Chrysalis is doomed.
Alice realises that the germinal is terminal.
The Carters' marriage implodes.

ppeatfruit · 09/11/2020 09:29

Interesting that the MW on TA said that Feotal Alchohol Syndrome (is that correct?) doesn't show up on the scan Moon .

Thanks Gasp

PoulePouletteEternellement · 09/11/2020 19:18

Well. That was a bit of an anti-climax Unless there's more to come?

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 09/11/2020 19:48

Brian is not happy about it, I suppose...

CaptainMyCaptain · 09/11/2020 19:55

Unless there's a bombshell in the message.

PoulePouletteEternellement · 09/11/2020 20:10

So misleading of them to tease that he would be making a shocking discovery - rather than merely receiving something that shocks him.

Hmph!

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 09/11/2020 20:15

I find it terribly hard to care; this is just a replay of "Daddy" (who didn't expect to die untimely) "left eighteenth birthday presents of a most improbable nature for Freddie and Lily to have when they were eighteen."

PoulePouletteEternellement · 09/11/2020 20:23

Ha. Joe Grundy's 'legacy' wins the waste of time and anticipation award. At least the Gwen John led somewhere. (Nowhere good, but still ...)
