I've listened to Just a minute Since I was 5 years old... I am bereft... nothing else I can say without deviation, repetition and most definitely not repetition..

It was lovely to hear the repeat of the 50th anniversary programme with its many voices from the past. And so nice to hear tributes where they talked fondly about the JAM 'family' he created.

Very sad news. A good innings at 96, but still very sad. I shall miss him very much :(

Enjoyed listening to Shaun Keaveney's interview with him, this afternoon. "I thought you said sex music"

I was so sad when I heard this news earlier. He was just wonderful at what he did, and he will be very much missed.

Had to break the news to DS(15) whilst driving him to after school activities. He is a great JAM fan

My son is bereft. He knows that spells the end of JAM as he has known it. It was the first show he listened to on R4.
