Am I missing something? Why on earth would it be unreasonable for an 8yo to listen to the radio?

Because of ads and she missed her favorite today

There are some comedies or drama on Radio 4 Extra that would be good for an 8 year old. I do know that Radio 4 doesn’t have a watershed so could you download content to a tablet etc so you don’t have to worry your DD hears something that might upset her?

Ours listen to fun kids radio. There’s too much in the news eg stories about sex offenders etc that I’m not happy for the kids to hear about just yet.

Looks like radio 1 is best though has dds favorites
