Brilliant investigation - can't believe I'd never heard of Dr Ruja - it reminds me of the Theranos affair (another good podcast if you've not heard it) but im not sure yet how honest her intentions were. Jamie Bartlett has done some documentaries on the BBC about tech. Thank goodness he called his mum to explain block chains as I am useless at understanding the crypto thing.

Yes I've listened to this one - very well put together and interesting the similarities between MLM schemes too. Wonder if they'll ever track her down?

Very sad listening to the people who truly think they're getting money back from this scheme.

I too have just started listening. It is excellent. Half way through at the moment.

I do not understand why they are still allowed to trade in the UK? Pyramid schemes have been illegal here for decades. Is it classed as MLM because of the educational material they sell? If it is, the law needs changing as no one is pushing it for the educational content.
