Podcast making - anyone use Anchor?

Does anyone here make their own show?
I heard you need to have a podcast hosting website, but there are too many to choose from!
Am considering going with AnchorFM, as it's free, but not sure.
Would you recommend any companies to make a podcast?

@AudioWitch I can't personally help you with Anchor but came on to say there is a Facebook group called Podcasts We Listen To which is for fans of and makers of podcasts. It's a closed group but easy to join and they should be able to answer your question.
