95! I knew he was getting on a bit but didn't realise he was as old as that. Still presenting Just a Minute too. Amazing. It's not my favourite R4 programme, but kudos to Nicholas for such a long working life. Happy Birthday! One of the benefits of reaching such a great age is that he can probably eat and drink what he likes, so please dip into any or all of these. Cake Wine Biscuit Gin

The regular players have been joking about his age for about a hundred years!

God bless that man!
Having gone from
Sale of the Centuary to Just a Minute in one lifetime represents a shift of cosmic proportions.
Happy birthday!

May he go on without deviations for many more years.

Sale of the Century! That takes me back. Anglia TV, with its weird spinning silver-coloured knight ident that looked like something out of an Airfix model kit.

51 years of Just A Minute and he's only missed two episodes. Incredible.

Aww I love Just a Minute, it's one of the funniest programmes on the radio. How he manages to keep it together at 95 I will never know! Many Happy Returns Nicholas. Grin
