Yes! Was mentioned by someone else on the crime pod thread so tried. The idea of the pain is what freaks me out the most! There are stories about people like that, it really is a nightmare!

I listened through it after it was recommended on MFM. Pretty scary stuff - especially the way the hospitals handled it! I wonder how many similar cases there have been in various countries, that have just silently been hushed up...

Have you finished and heard the update GoneWishing? Won't spoil it in case you haven't! Did you feel any sympathy for him? I found it convincing at times that he wasn't more deeply, deeply flawed rather than coldly calculating, or was that just me.
Wondery seem quite a good channel for podcasts. I started listening to American Scandal because I heard the ad on Dr Death, it's pretty interesting too.
