R4 First World Problems - anyone else listening to this?

I'm enjoying it a lot, though I think there are logical jumps forward that don't make sense. I guess it's a good radio tactic to have all the main family characters sounding so different but there somehow isn't much chemistry between them - not sure why.

I'm really enjoying it, in an odd way. Good preparation for Brexit

I've been glued to it all week and I'm just catching up on yesterday's last episode. I love a bit of dystopia - this is so close to the bone I've been having problems remembering that it's not actually happened. yet

Yes it had some really good elements. I wasn't amazed by the acting, and I thought a lot of it needed a lot more fleshing out to be plausible. But it had me thinking all week.

I've just discovered mumsnet purely by googling if there was a forum talking about First World Problems! I've now listened all the way through it three times and am fascinated, as well as horrified, that this scenario could potentially happen! Does anybody else out there think that Britain could descend into such a hateful place??!
