We never thought we’d feel sorry for Will. Although of course it should have been Pip! Discuss The Archers here (Titled edited by MNHQ)

Welcome all! I was really touched by the potential for Ed and Will to reconcile. But wonder if Will can accept Ed’s support.

As ever, no spoilers here (there’s a thread for that) - discussion permitted as soon as the pm episode is broadcast.

@PseudoBadger - where are you? Your people need you as the end of the thread approaches. It's going to be hard to improve on Lilian's suggestion for a new thread title (24 Mar 8:40).

As an aside, I know there's some love for Cabin Pressure here, so you might enjoy this: www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/mar/27/how-we-made-cabin-pressure-benedict-cumberbatch (including Cumberbatch in the URL strikes me as blatant attempt to use his name to promote the article Hmm ).

Gasp0de has already started a thread on it.Smile

DadDadDad · 27/03/2018 10:41

What? You mean there are threads in Radio Addicts that aren't about TA? Shock

Was there a book that was a thinly disguised version of Jenny? Could have been by Mandy someone? or I could have imagined it all

Terpsichore · 27/03/2018 13:56

Wasn't it Mistress of the Paddocks? JennyDarling chose it, but it soon became embarrassingly clear that the hero and heroine were a thinly-disguised Brian and Mandy Beesborough. Cue much sniggering amongst the other book group members.

Butteredparsn1ps · 27/03/2018 14:01

Yes Terpsichore that was it! Funny how you remember some things and forget other details completely!

Fink · 27/03/2018 15:06

Mistress of the Paddocks made a return recently when Lexi read it and Roy explained the Aldridge connection. A couple of months ago.

Terpsichore · 27/03/2018 15:23

Yes, I remembered hearing it rehashed fairly recently Grin

PseudoBadger · 27/03/2018 16:58

Don’t worry I’m here
