A Good Face for Radio

DH gave me this for Christmas. It is a kind of memoir by Eddie Mair. I love it. DHhas a history of rubbish presents but this is a lovely read. I don‘t have many hardback books so that‘s a bonus too.

Since reading my new book more thoroughly l now see it is a compilation of his Radio Times columns. This collection ends December 2016 which means ’interesting’ political events of the last year are not covered but l am enjoying the writing very much, and as l rarely read the RT these days it‘s all new to me.

Sounds lovely Auld, I'll look out for it, as its quite an emotive phrase in our house as my not lovely MIL always told my DH that he had a face for radio.
The book may put the phrase into a different perspective for DH as he likes Eddie Mair
