I had no idea I knew so many of his songs. It's truly lovely. John Grant is singing, at the moment and Jarvis Cocker did a few, at the beginning.

I watched it on BBC4. Wonderful.

Caught this on iPlayer the other night - it was wonder and I now have a huge John Grant crush!

I have a John Grant crush, too, although the sleeve of Grey Tickles Black Pressure is the freakiest I've ever seen!

I have no wunderlust, but have always been fascinated by Iceland and his take on the place (he lives there) has made me want to go even more.

I'm in the NE where it doesn't get fully dark in June - we've never managed a full family holiday, but I think it could be the place when the boys (both have ASD) are old enough to adapt to it. They don't like hot, so that's always a positive!

Finances this year (and probably the next couple!) are eaten up by planned house move.

I read a bit or Icelandic literature, last year. Haldor Laxness had me gripped but some more the more current stuff was just as odd!

I'm in Edinburgh, it is great in June, but not as good as north east Scotland . I was in Orkney a couple of years ago for midsummer.
