Anybody got any thoughts/insights on hotels?

I've just reached my hotel, thanks for checking! True to form I ended up lost in a parking lot somewhere in Hykeham but I'm so looking forward to tomorrow.

It's going so well! Fascinating :) and thanks for the badges Olivia. I managed to mix up my presentation so the wrong one came up, but it was a really friendly atmosphere. And I tried to keep it Anarchist-friendly.

Wouldn't have known, if you hadn't told us - I thought the slides were just in the wrong order, and blamed PPT.

I've met Auldheathen and R4! Should have got autographs :)

I now have several faces for names. With my bad hearing I got a bit confused - but think/know I met Cecile, R4, Ebearhug, mummytime, Paxman, Puddock AND the President. Please tell me who I missed. It was a great conference, such fun and v interesting. Exhausting too. Cecile's talk was great. I tell you, she is very qualified to comment on recent and regular Archers themes. I am so glad I travelled all that way. And did you see that map of broadband speeds? I feel vindicated - so, it's not just our rubbish equipment, it's where we live.

I've just been for dinner with my niece and family. Met her 2 youngest children, including my Archers name-sake. 3 yo thought I talked 'funny'(cheek!) and was a bit bemused to meet someone with her name. My niece was keen to hear all about the conf. Her husband wanted to know why we'd want to gather to discuss TA.He is otherwise a very pleasant and tuned in man. I'm off to Norwich tomorrow. Then Cambridge. More spectacular cathedrals and dh's family, then home.

Oh yes, a non-MNer said PresidentOliviaMumsnet's talk was really great. I really had a great time, though I'm still bemused that the stats on reported DV only covers 16-59 year olds (not to mention other vulnerable groups which are missed.)

What did Olivia talk about?

She talked about why aren't all the Ambridge businesses using social media to promote their businesses, and things they could be doing.

It was lovely to meet so.many MNers at the conference. I met Cecile, Puddock, R4, AuldHeathen, Mummy Time and of course Olivia. It was a great conference.

It was fantastic, Bore - the slides are well worth a look as well, I won't spoil them for you but lots and lots of visual jokes there :) and actually some good business and sales advice for the real world!

Where can I see the slides? And can I ask what your talk was about Cecile?

THank you for kind words - I was rather gutted to be on so late as presenting with such an ENORMOUS screen was a bit overwhelming

I so enjoyed meeting those of you that I did - I have lost my voice!
