I thought Tom's reaction was text book perfect. Pleased but not pushy. Knows the boundaries but supportive. Interested without making assumptions, and so on.

Did anyone else think Lizzie's reaction to the news that Tracey was after Roy was a sign that she still has an interest? Especially now she knows Dr L is not reliable.

I'm hoping Toby is up to something in Brighton so heinous that Jill's hatred of him is completely vindicated.

I don't think she's interested as such, but feeling like she has no luck - Richard gone off with Debbie, and even Roy would rather be with Tracy than try again with her. (I don't think it was made clear to her that Roy absolutely doesn't return Tracy''s interest in him.) It probably hasn't done much for her confidence.

If I were Jill, I'd call Ruth's bluff. After all, what can Ruth do to force Jill to be nice to Toby? It's not as if she can threaten to chuck her out, given that that would leave them high and dry in the catering department.
