I loved the psychologist's report. Clearly she is also a listener. Grin

As for Pip - not going to Stir Up Sunday! Surely the endtimes must be approaching. I trust we all noticed that Toby is asking her for money. I believe the recognised MN term for such as he is cocklodger.

TheAntiBoop · 20/11/2016 19:22

How realistic is that report?

Vango · 20/11/2016 19:23

Maybe the BBC would be kind enough to pop it onto the Archers page on their website Seal?

Toby is truly awful. Pip and Jill not yet reconciled then.

SealSong · 20/11/2016 19:28

Oh yes, I bet that was Rob straight on the phone to Bridge Farm, foaming at the mouth. I do hope we get to hear his reaction.

enochroot · 20/11/2016 19:38

With any luck he'll react so badly at the hearing that he'll scupper his chances of ever getting near those boys again.
However, he will then become just plain dangerous.

Getabloominmoveon · 20/11/2016 19:48

Yes, I also wondered if Rob will do something evil, possibly involving Jack/Gideon, to get back at Helen now that his access is likely to be limited. He wouldn't be the first father to do that, and I'm sure he could find a way to slip the supervision net to do it.
But I don't think that will happen yet, as in the meantime he's got dark dealings to do as Justin's consigliere.

TheAntiBoop · 20/11/2016 19:56

Knobs career trajectory necessitates that he be around quite a bit longer surely?

Would they really let him read that report if he's considered such a risk? Why wouldn't they insist on access being supervised by a professional in a contact centre or what not?

Maybe be the judge will be male and see the whole thing as a female conspiracy.

JessieMcJessie · 20/11/2016 20:00

No need to be snippy FrancisCrawford.

redshoeblueshoe · 20/11/2016 20:01

Actually I am surprised that they sent a copy to Helen. Would that happen ?

Tbf I feel very sorry for Adam right now. He's the only one who seems to be taking the soil problem seriously.

I know NOTHING about farming but even I can appreciate that such a radical change to the way the soil is treated/fertilised isn't going to yield instantaneous results!

ColdTeaAgain · 20/11/2016 21:51

So disappointed in Brian 😡

EBearhug · 20/11/2016 22:21

Isn't Adam meant to have bought into Home Farm as some sort of partner, so Brian shouldn't be able to make unilateral decisions, because Adam taking on some of the risk by investing was partly why Brian agreed in the first place? And it was never going to be an overnight, one season fix.

EBearhug · 20/11/2016 22:25

Though I can imagine Brian saying, "well, exactly, Adam, this is your investment, and you don't want to throw good money after bad! It's precisely why we should pull the plug now, quit while we're still ahead, rather than totally ruin everything we've worked for! You'll thank me one day, you know."

Imbroglio · 20/11/2016 22:27

I was also thinking that Adam was now a share holder. He certainly shares the risks. I don't know what Brian is up to unless it's to create a dialogue around the arable issues of the day for the benefit of the townies like me.

TheAntiBoop · 20/11/2016 22:31

Isn't it just the regular six monthly dronathon from Adam about soil? I don't think they are really approaching the 'educating the public on soil' bit very effectively. Also agree that I thought Adam had buy in and it was on home farm land so nothing to do with damara

Maybe it's so that Ian just has that lightbulb moment 'jeez, he shags other men AND bored me silly about soil. Maybe that job in Edinburgh is still available...'

BiscuitMillionaire · 20/11/2016 22:38

Gasp0de: I immediately thought 'Cocklodger!' about Toby tonight too. Grin

officerhinrika · 20/11/2016 22:52

I thought Adam was now in a share farming agreement with Brian, no salary just a profit share. As this is in place Brian can't take decisions without Adam agreeing surely?
It's this sort of thing in storylines that irritates me beyond belief, even I can remember it happening and I'm not working on the scripts! They really miss the Archivist.

VictoriaMcdade · 20/11/2016 22:52

When I heard the report, I thanked MN for introducing me to NPD.
