I can still hear his voice - Jeremy Vine's show isn't a patch on his.

"What's the recipe today Jim?" I still remember his show. It seems odd that R2 has a sweet show about him AFTER he's died though. I liked his singing .

He did seem to be removed without ceremony but he was 82 FGS!! He would probably have died in harness if they hadn't suggested he was a bit past it then .

Terry Wogan did it better IMO he knew he'd had enough.
