I'm very confused. But enjoying it. Some great voices. like the music too.

I do wonder if I'm going to be left going 'What...?' at the end. But then i usually am, with a conspiracy story.

I'm not sure but I think she had started talking to her 'sister' in her head. At the very end it seemed to me that they were walking together (as it were) into the sea to scatter their father's ashes. The strong suggestion appeared to be that she/they wouldn't stop walking.

On the least episode now. Completely confused. Not helped by the fact Romola Garai sounds so like Katherine Parkinson (and Katherine Parkinsonism being Jen in the IT crowd)

Completely confused. Who brought the plane down and why?

GypsyFl0ss · 05/10/2016 11:42

Haven't a clue!

I missed that Helen had a brain transplant, was that what the ending was about?

So whose body and whose brain was "Helen" ? Too confusing for me and I don't get the Romala Garai love, maybe it was the script but I've never met anyone who spoke like she did. It wasn't just her, no one spoke like real people to me. That, however, is a fault I find with the whole of R4, no one speaks like a real live person imo

I missed that Helen had a brain transplant

Saw this sentence on Threads I'm On and thought it must be an Archers thread! Grin

As far as I can recall, Elizabeth was the biological daughter of the surgeon and she had an incurable neurological condition that was going to kill her. Helen was the surgeon's adopted daughter and she had an incurable brain tumour that was also going to kill her. The surgeon removed Helen's brain and put Elizabeth's brain in its place. So it was Helen's body and Elizabeth's brain. All perfectly plausible!

I thought it was weird that she had never noticed the scars before! Surely a hairdresser may have mentioned it somewhere along the line...
I actually still don't know who brought down the plane either, assume it must have been the Chinese?
I thought the references to the 'red market' in organ sales was really cool though..
I'd give it 8/10...
