Minimammoth Helen would make Piper Chapman seem positively un-annoying!

Imagining lots of crossover moments for the middle-class English rural OITNB. Where Piper was rude about Red's cooking on her first day, Helen would be asking if everything was organic, and getting starved out for it.

Helen devises a smart way to make cash and status in prison not by selling used pants on the internet but by selling homemade jewelry and cheese on One Of Them Social Media Internet Auction Sites.

Surely the police found that mobile phone and checked what that number was.
At least Kirsty is giving thought to the problem in hand rather than wailing like the rest of them.

I'm fully expecting Kirsty to give up her job at Grey Gables and return to Bridge Farm to run the Farm Shop (that way she'll be perfectly positioned to help Fallon and Emma out on the side).

What irritates me is that we know perfectly well that the reality is that someone like Kirsty, having been concerned enough to dig out the Women's Aid number and give Helen a phone, would have been beating on Bridge Farm's door as soon as Helen was charged, if not before, to get them to check. We've only had to wait this long because SOC fondly believes that he's been increasing the tension in the storyline rather than simply increasing listeners' levels of incredulity and boredom. And the knock-on effect of that is that, totally unnecessarily, Kirsty is portrayed as incredibly slow in the uptake.

Still, Friday tomorrow, with any luck we'll get Anna contacting WA or asking Helen about it and light beginning to dawn. Probably just as she goes into labour.

Caught the end of yesterday - first thought was Nigel and Elizabeth in the run-up to New Years Eve.

Caught the last five minutes of tonight. First thought - they've sacked Sean? Grin

Do you think in a few weeks Kirsty will remember that Helen had met up with Jess and this was what was prompting her to leave?

@MovingOnUpMovingOnOut

If this was The Good Wife you'd get the investigator on it. I'd like to see them getting some greasy PI from Borsetshire Gumshoes on the case.

LOL - I'd like to see them depict Alicia's flawless hair on the radio.

SO I have just listened live (taking a break from listening to Justin Timberlake's new song on repeat, it's ridiculously catchy!)
FFS how RUDE is Tony? Oh mum what am I going to do when you DIE because you are OLD? All you're good for is sitting in your chair and watching telly. I was SO cross.

Also there doesn't seem to be any level of anyone talking to each other
Surely Anna should have advised them to have made a timeline of what's happened and when - I know we are the omniscient (omni-aural? is that a word? ) audience but surely Kirsty can fill in with helping re; lies back when they got together
THe Table incident
There must be other things that others witnessed......

I've just realised the reason I've not batted an eyelid at Peggy zooming up and down the country at her age is that my own mother used to come and babysit for me and do my housework and helped my brother move house at the age of 93. Thinking about it, that's a bit unusual, isn't it? Grin

I get that maybe the po-pos might not check every single number on a phone but when the secret phone only had 2 flipping numbers (the other being kirsty's) it surely wouldn't have beyond their dim wits to check them both out?
