Well done, Helen.

Kind of more worried about what he will do when he finds out she's going for hospital birth!!

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 25/03/2016 19:19

Thank god the clocks go forward on Sunday: an hour less to wait!

Boomingmarvellous · 25/03/2016 19:19

Gipsy. I did predict a while back he will hit her and bring on an early labour. Now that will get the bastard banged up!

glowfrog · 25/03/2016 19:20

Lorek I don't think the BS was a set-up - I think it would have happened if Henry hadn't blabbed. And it might still happen.

SausagesAndLaughter · 25/03/2016 19:20

Out of interest, what happens if she never rings up again - can WA use any of her information to send help anyway?

phoebemac · 25/03/2016 19:20

Phew. That was hard to listen to. Things will come to a head soon. Rob will be more dangerous now.

AugustaFinkNottle · 25/03/2016 19:20

Fabulous that the escape has started, but I'm worried about the consequences of her daring to defy Rob twice in one day. Mysterious bruises next episode?

enochroot · 25/03/2016 19:20

At least he didn't catch her making the call.
Is he pretending now that the thought of sending Henry to boarding school never crossed his mind?

EmilyDickinson · 25/03/2016 19:21

At last Helen is beginning to see things clearly and is more like herself. I think that Rob realised something has changed and he's losing the hold he has over her.

Travelledtheworld · 25/03/2016 19:21

...and thank god she managed to make the phone call to the obstetric consultant and book herself in for a hospital birth....

Imbroglio · 25/03/2016 19:22

I think making her own decision over the birth was a breakthrough moment for her - just realising how much she is agreeing to that is not her choice, and realising that she CAN make her own decisions.

maras2 · 25/03/2016 19:23

OMFG. !!!!! Get Ye gone Helin x

Stickerrocks · 25/03/2016 19:27

Don't hold your breath though, folks. She's taking little steps to build her confidence, but Rob can turn on the charm and start undermining her again very quickly. I don't think she will grab back her car keys and make a bid for freedom just yet, especially as he has convinced her that Pat & Tony are on his side.

Wordsaremything · 25/03/2016 19:28

are calls to w a automatically anonymised? Rob can't look through her phone and see who he's called, can he?

NotnowNigel · 25/03/2016 19:28

That hospital birth is never going to happen. I have a vision of helen dragging across the fields in the rain with henry in the middle of the night. Probably will go into premature labour as a result and then needing an extended stay in hospital. After which she will never return to knob.

Knob will do a midnight flit and never be heard of again (until they next need to shake things up and increase the ratings).

redshoeblueshoe · 25/03/2016 19:28

Now she really is in danger Sad

gardeningsarah · 25/03/2016 19:29

De lurks to say good for you Helen but I think Rob is on the warpath. Back to lurking.

GypsyFl0ss · 25/03/2016 19:32

I've always said that Rob will do a runner.

Boomingmarvellous · 25/03/2016 19:34

It definitely has to go through the phase of knob turning on the charm and begging her forgiveness, declaring undying love etc and Hellin believing him. Though with any luck we will be spared it as I for one, would need a huge vomit bowl.

AugustaFinkNottle · 25/03/2016 19:36

Rob almost seems to gaslight himself, doesn't he? He seems absolutely convinced that Helen hit him, and that the boarding school idea was a total figment of her imagination.

Wolpertinger · 25/03/2016 19:39

I have had the misfortune to meet a few people like Rob and when he rewrites history for Hellin he genuinely rewrites history in his own head. It's why it's easy for him to lie believably - he isn't lying, he thinks he's telling the truth.

selsigfach · 25/03/2016 19:42

Oh that was exhilarating, well done Helen. All on tenterhooks now.

Imbroglio · 25/03/2016 19:42

I think ursula does that as well.

elephantoverthehill · 25/03/2016 19:43

It will be Tom's moment to out Rob and so become a hero once again.

SaffyRosie · 25/03/2016 19:48

Rob will rape her again tonight as she has shown some spirit and he needs to assert his authority again.

Helen needs to be careful when making phone calls that Rob doesn't do a last number redial.
