Threads are moving so fast! Will this thread be here to welcome SOK?

Chris and Alice are definitely still in Ambridge, being delivered logs by Jenny recently. Given that they never leave the house and were previously known to have an active sex life, I can only presume they must have 5 or 6 secret kids by now.

Who knows what Jamie is up to. He lives in a house next door to one which was all but destroyed in the flood but which was apparently untouched itself. I guess he must have spent the past year lying flat out by the front door, acting as a human draught excluder/flood guard.

Definitely porridge!! He needs to feel the humiliation he's been dishing out.

The 49th DDD?

Goodness me!

Where's President Oivia with the official MN bunting? And possibly some WineWineWine

That's an excellent point about Pip never leaving the farm and never just being one of the community - the opposite of poor, landless Kirsty who is active everywhere and in everything: plays, shops, friends, birdwatching, in addition to her work. It stretches credibility but it does make her a much more interesting character. (And that's not really just a factor of age and becoming less self centred; Kirsty was always public spirited and generous with her time.)

Ho hum - I'm loving the secret gaggle of offspring hiding in Chris and Alice's cottage. Grin

You talked so much on the last thread that I didn't even post on it :o

Love the songs. I have smalls in the house who would be appalled at my bad language (I'm not even allowed to say bloody :( ) so I will sing in my head.

Thanks for new thread Pseudo Flowers

Porridge. Grey, lumpy, watery, slimy, sticky porridge. Knob's just desserts.

Yes, well I was going to get out some bunting, but someone seems to have pinched it. Confused

Maybe we could save it for the 50,000th post which looks less than two months away.

And keep it up for SODOFF (Sean O'connor's Date Of Finally Finishing Grin)

I'm thinking, what will the dramatic denouement be? Maybe Helen will be about to leave, Rob will arrive just as she's going, and she'll have Rob on one side saying how much he loves her and just wants what's best for her, and Kirsty on the other side saying, come with me, and she will have to choose. Or maybe there'll be a Henwee-snatching storyline.

Or maybe the boarding school nonsense will be the thing that starts to make Pat question everything, and she'll come up trumps.

Or will it be Carol?

Or Tom?

Or Fallon and Harrison will arrive in the nick of time?

Shepherds hut progressing, but not finished yet. Eddie is trying to find a cheap woodburning stove for it.
Fairbrethren still around. Rex is being a great friend to Pip, who is pining for Matthew, but about to go and see him for a few days next week.
Caroline and Oliver aren't back yet and some of us fear that all their precious things might be about to be nicked by Alf Grundy, who has come to visit Eddie, Clarrie et al at Grange Farm. Alf has form for being lightfingered.
Matt (very sadly) has not returned. I hope he will at some point.

Thanks for the new thread, Pseudo! I vote porridge. I don't think Rob will ever accept that he has done anything wrong, though.

Thanks for another new thread. At this rate we'll need another before Easter!

Will we be saying a fond farewell to Ursula this week?

Report
SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 20/03/2016 01:05

I think Rob wanted Irsula out of the way as he only wanted her there long enough to manipulate her into suggesting BS and offering to pay for it.

I wonder if Henry has even been wetting the bed ir of Rob has either just been saying it or pouring water on him in the night.

As we are coming up to the 50th thread - with more and more new listeners (but mostly because I've just stumbled across it again) here's a link to answers to FAQ - about how TA is produced and written. From the BBC site.

Definitely got mumsy out of the way to pile on the pressure re the BS and because he knows even mumsy won't condone hitting his wife Angry

I think porridge for the culvert incident is out of the picture. Would he get porridge for the EA as its such a new law? I don't want him to descend into beating Hellin to a pulp, that's too much for me Sad. Would Hellin testify to rape? I think he's got to do something less hidden to be banged up.

If he assaults Hellin and brings on early labour that would see him in the nick. Again a bit too much for me.

What the hell is a shepherd's hut anyway?

Kr1stina · 20/03/2016 08:35

I agree he's got Ursula out the way so there won't be any witnesses . And who would believe Helen because she's clearly crazy ?

Checking in to new thread and wishing for a pantomime style denouement to this SL, with all the wronged parties including the hunt saboteur, Iain, Henwee, Kirsty, a newly restored Pat, Stefan, and Tom dressed as a sausage, lining up to denounce Rob and chucking cold porridge over him as he is led off in shackles.

Report
Putthetulipsthere · 20/03/2016 09:17

Given the way it seems the SL is heading for a showdown - I wouldn't be surprised if Hellin loses SOK 😱😬😬. Also, as other posters have said, it's almost as if she she hasn't been interested in SOK from the start. Unsurprisingly given it was the result of rape 😬

Love the shepherds hut photo! Wonder how much Lynda is paint Eddie, does anyone know??
