I suppose one plus point of Ks heavy handed approach is that when Helen does she realise at least she will know ahe isn't going to have to convince Kirsty he's abusive.

I think there is massive shame and denial in abusive households. It is very difficult to pin down and articulate what is going on apart from deep unhappiness. Emotional Abuse is TABOO. Also, dysfunctional behaviour becomes quite normal. It becomes a way of being. Once it becomes ingrained, it is very hard to change. Children suffer beyond the beyond. Poor Henwee.

Bigbuttons Don't worry, we've all done it. It's agonising sometimes going between the two threads without spilling the beans. We're allowed to discuss what has happened and what could hypothetically happen over here. Over there on Spoilers, the listings from the Radio Times, TV Choice et al are pulled apart for every innuendo and double meaning. This thread is kept in pristine condition to avoid incurring the wrath of Olivia from Mumsnet.
