Nice or dodgy? Postcard from school!

Next Door Neighbour has a child starting primary school in September. The Head has sent him a postcard, addressed directly to him (the child) saying something along the lines of "looking forward to seeing you, welcome to our school". It is signed love from Mrs X.

I think - how lovely.
NND thinks - dodgy.
I have lots of more than one child but this is NDD's PFB.

I think it's lovely. DD had something similar from her school.

What does your neighbour think is dodgy about it? I genuinely can't imagine how that could be misconstrued.

Oh for goodness sake, how can it possibly be dodgy? Does your neighbour seriously think the Head is grooming all the new pupils?
