Did anyone hear this?

I just didn't understand the wife's reason for wanting a divorce. She never gave the husband a clear explanation of anything, he was in the dark throughout.

I get that the marriage had become rather stale and that there was huge trauma when the husband was involved in a serious car accident some years before but she seemed not to know what she did want. Certainly not any sort of counselling.

I listened to all of it but there was no resolution at all. Did I miss the point of this altogether? Can anyone enlighten me?

I listened to it. Like you I was left thinking -er?

Their marriage had lost its spark. He had been sleeping in a spare room for 3 years. She asked for a divorce but I don't think she actually wanted a divorce as she didn't appear that happy when he found someone new.

I don't even think her reaction was dog-in-the-manger.

I think she asked for a divorce as she thought that would be a brand new exciting start and everyone would carry on as usual - I suspect that she was very disappointed at the end. She did appear very confused.

As was I. I didn't think it was up to the usual drama they do. And there's been some really good ones!

I listened a bit, couldn't stand HIS voice in particular, but hers wasn't much better. Part of my life I'll never get back, fortunately not that much of my life though as I found the off button. Smile Usually I like the WH serial so a bit disappointing IMO.
