Is Ed's wedding very soon?

OP posts:
Minimammoth · 19/05/2015 18:00

Is it me or Wiwyum, the only one talking sense in the best man scenario?

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 19/05/2015 18:17

Agree mini. And Emma - I'm sure she doesn't want to be walking down the aisle to both her future an ex husbands

But it's one of those annoying situations where one person seems to think their feelings should be prioritised without thinking if how others may feel

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 19/05/2015 19:05

Those fuckers are playing with us. Pip and her second interview which she will no doubt get and then dramatically change her mind and we will be stuck with her!

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 19/05/2015 19:09

FOUND YOUUUU!

ZeroFunDame · 19/05/2015 19:10

Stefan LIVES!!!

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 19/05/2015 19:14

Russian gangster? If we are lucky he can get a hit out on rob.

Love that rob was witnessed. And that they explained what a culvert was.

Will stefan get a job at Brookfield?

Gave us food for thought - er more than that surely

Jolene is soooo PA and 'in the wrong'. Irritating.

Bea · 19/05/2015 19:14

OH MY GOD!!!
Why has no one said "it's your own bloody fault for spending money you didn't have!!"
Arggghhh!

enochroot · 19/05/2015 19:15

High staff turnover at Berrow Farm, eh? I bet Rob's a horrible boss, especially when he hasn't had a proper lunch.

Bea · 19/05/2015 19:15

Betrayed?? Betrayed?? What a load of bollocks!!

oddfodd · 19/05/2015 19:15

Betrayed?! Oh FGS. They're behaving like toddlers

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 19/05/2015 19:17

I think rob is innocent

He was merely disposing of all the meals Helen has cooked which he can't actually bear but to be polite pretends to eat whilst actually hiding the food on hidden pockets on his trousers

enochroot · 19/05/2015 20:16

David will confront Charlie. Charlie will confront Rob.
Rob will use the blackmail material he's been saving for a special occasion.

R4 · 19/05/2015 20:44

Rob will use the blackmail material he's been saving for a special occasion.

Which will fail spectacularly.
Charlie said, when he and Rob were talking about the Child Support, that BL weren't interested in what employees get up to in their private lives. So Rob can't get him on the "OMG he's gay/bi" disclosure.
It may not go down too well if a procurement manager is consorting with suppliers but Charlie can prove that he was not swayed by personal involvement - after all he sacked Adam! The kiss was after the sacking, wasn't it?
It's pretty poor blackmail material.

Minimammoth · 19/05/2015 20:55

I agree R4. Don't think Charlie will give a toss.

Icimoi · 19/05/2015 20:57

It's another annoying character transplant. Jolene has always been portrayed as having a lot of common sense. No-one with any common sense would come out with that "You betrayed us" bollocks.

ZeroFunDame · 19/05/2015 21:11

"Exposing" Charlie isn't the problem; Charlie is single. But Rob has a sworn enemy in Ian. He could kill two birds ... And the last thing Charlie would want is to be the cause of trouble for Adam.

enochroot · 19/05/2015 21:44

That's what I think too, Zero.
Also, Charlie hasn't come out, has he? Maybe he doesn't want Justin to know.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 19/05/2015 22:05

Oh no one cares if Charlie's gay

And it's in Charlie's interests for the news to get out. Hasn't come from him so Helen gets blamed for blabbing. Adam and Ian split and in the aftermath Charlie goes in for the kill

ZeroFunDame · 19/05/2015 22:13

Oh - I think he's better than that BYOS. Not only does he have considerable respect for Adam - the man saved his life. He will not be willing to let Rob spoil Adam's life.

Though I don't know how such considerations might steer his actions - if Rob does try blackmail.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 19/05/2015 22:20

Meh, I think he would put Justin first

Rob will deny it anyway and do his menacing act. Ultimately they have no proof and stefan will find himself in the sinkhole

Do we think rob is going to end up going all Phil Mitchell on us

stilllearnin · 19/05/2015 22:35

It'll be yet another close shave for Rob - how many lives has he left now? (yawn) Also I do think Charlie is about ten times more clever than Rob and also is more adept in the business world (who to suck up to, what will impress and what won't). I am not sure he will want Adam ruined but he may point out to Rob the flaw in his plan (that BYOS pointed out). H will not only be marked out as the blabber but also she will wonder why R has suddenly felt the need to tell Charlie he knows (Rob tries to blackmail Charlie, Charlie tells Adam, who asks his good friend Helen what the hell she is playing at, Who asks her good friend Adam why has Rob tried to blackmail Charlie).

NB: I mainly wrote all that out for my benefit to see if it works.

ZeroFunDame · 19/05/2015 22:39
Grin
Icimoi · 19/05/2015 22:59

Betcha one of the Fairbrethren wins the Single Wicket. If it's Tobes, Pip will be fawning all over him.

Bluestocking · 20/05/2015 00:26

Two instances of the classic "mebbe" from Wor Rooooth this evening. I also liked cloak-and-dagger Stefan and his dodgy choice of cafés. Did anyone else notice the music in the bad café? Fleetwood Mac, Albatross followed by Sweet Little Lies. Hmmm.

GypsyFloss · 20/05/2015 05:56

Not listening these days, just reading to catch up. Glad the bird watching nonsense is done.

Definitely agree with the implausibility of Clarrie not having a dress, the bonkersness of the idea of Willyum being best man and am living in hope of Pip legging it with whichever Fairbrethren she's cocked her hat at.
Love "Fairbrethren" Grin

Am very pleased at the idea of Knob getting his comeuppance...might even have to tune back in for that!
