Nah - he just wants Helen totally isolated; from her brother, from work, from friends. Tied down, penniless and pandering to his child (while Henry starves in the cellar.)

I liked Helen showing a bit of mettle. But my, how Rob hates that.
I also enjoyed the chat between Tom and Helen, it sounded very relaxed and natural.

I agree with the comments upthread about Kenton... A fool and his money are soon parted sums him up so well!

Can Emma have a second CofE wedding? I was under the impression that she couldn't as a divorcee but am happy to be corrected.

My divorcee friend married her unchristened dh cofe no problems.

I have to say that was a good episode and it felt natural with no overly dramatic conversations or cliff hangers etc

Re rob and Henry - he needs to isolate Helen away from her family before he can lock Henry in the cellar surely? Maybe he will have a job offer in northern Scotland as soon as she finds out she's pregnant

BringYourOwnSnowman my mind also boggled about Fallon saying she was looking for potential. Wasn't she moaning only recently that there were no possible sites in Ambridge for a business? Now she needs to narrow down all the myriad choices

Yep Lilian . I moaned loads about her whiny irritating voice and now I wish she'd come back ' cos NewPip's voice makes my back shiver. It's all my fault

But, it's not just her voice , I miss the diva strops that OldPip used to have. I just can't imagine her taking the move so calmly. She would have been hysterical and drama queeny about it all.

Generally I like TA when it resembles cricket commentary. Lots of incidental detail with infrequent action.

Yes nauticant - as well as the wandering accent, she really does sound more male than female at times.

I was so confused when NewPip was talking to NewDan! No idea who eiter of them were!

Yesterday I thought Pip was Josh when they were talking about the robotic parlour. Perhaps it's just one new actor doing all the teenagers voices!
