Wilkie Collins No Name: about to start final episide but I am confused!

I have been loving this so much (especially Mrs Wragge!!) but I fear that in the final episode there are some formerly minor characters who are going to become v. significant and I'm a bit lost. The admiral? Bartram? Kirk? Can you help without spoilers? Thank you!

If you go on Wikipedia, they go over the plot and Characters. Collins was a contemporary of Dickens but his women are not as sickly.
Some of the plot is a bit farcical, but I think I can I say without spoiling it for you that it all comes good in the end.
It is on Radio 4 extra ATM, and you can get the book on audio books free as it is out of copy-write.

Well if you loved that book, you could try his others. I am not so keen on the Moonstone though.
