My interpretation of Elizabeth sounding shocked at thought of Rota with his hands in TILL was that she still has 'feelings' for him, so doesn't want to hear ill said of him. This of course means there is more mileage in the SL .

I thought Lizzie was genuinely horrified that the rumour mill is saying Roy has been dishonest. (I can't bring myself to think about where his fingers have been.) She's not a complete monster and she would recognise the injustice of that.
But it is a rumour that is most likely to make Roy and Hayley scotch it by exposing the affair.

If Helen had half a brain cell operating she would realise that Jess holding down a job as a social worker makes it unlikely that she is as deranged as Rob makes out.
Jess said perfectly rational things but the actress's delivery was questionable.

I'm another that would like a heads-up when CP is going to be on.

I really feel for Phoebe. Her dad is awful, her step mum really drippy and her birth mum is thousands of miles away and as much use as a chocolate fireguard in any case. She would be best off living with Jenny. No such escape for the unfortunate Abbie though.

Aargh! Hayley seems to have completely put the fling/affair into the past being about as concerned as Roy having forgot to buy bog roll on the last big shop or something.

It's hard finding out your parents aren't perfect - especially when you entrusted one to be the safe parent when you found out te other was an egotistical nightmare.

It is a tough one to handle. Dh knew all the details of his parents separation including the cheating and it took him many many years to rebuild a relationship with the cheating parent. As an adult he can look back and see that things weren't so black and white but it was damaging.

I hope phoebe and Abbie don't suffer the same fate!!

I applied for a ticket to the recording of Zurich but as thousands of others did the same for a tiny theatre I wasn't successful. I contained my disappointment as I thought the BBC would broadcast it at Easter. I was so cross when I found out they were hanging onto it for Christmas! However, that's all water under the bridge now. Christmas is just round the corner.... ish.

I think Rob being manipulative and good with Henry is not mutually exclusive. If you look at EA posts on MN pne of the most often said things is 'oh but he is such a good df /dsd' (even if on inspection it is actually this is the one area in which he is not totally useless).

He may be trying to turn H against Hel. As long as SW don't forget the storyline as they seemed to with crazy Paul.

And I have known the kids of a few social workers. Good at job flaky at home.
