Come and play Grand Theft Combine through the quiet Ambridge streets. And by the way, ROB IS STILL MARRIED.

Bolloxfest is imminent. Will this thread make it to the big day?

Are they doing the lurve thing so that we won't all shout 'YOU SLAHG'?

GypsyFloss · 29/08/2014 21:34

Yes!

ColdTeaAgain · 29/08/2014 21:52

That's what I thought Basketz, how come Freddie ended up going all the way to Roy's house? And how would he of got there? A lot of effort for a lad his age to go to! Seemed like really shoddy writting, surely they could of found a better way for Hayley to discover the locket.

What's the betting Roy will tell her it was meant to of been a surprise for her and Elizabeth sent it to him as he'd left it behind in the office. Not sure if he thinks fast enough to cover his tracks though!

Dying to know what Jess wants. Maybe they were having fertility treatment right up until he left her but she's somehow managed to continue with it and is pregnant with twin Roblets?? I'm very tired

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 29/08/2014 21:57

Rob and Jess's twins could be Robina and Jesse. Smile

Freddie presumably whizzed over on his bike.

Looking forward to Sunday!

AllMimsyWereTheBorogoves · 29/08/2014 21:58

BTW, we're going to need a new thread soon. Is Pseudo around? Does anyone have any bright ideas for the thread title?

Icimoi · 29/08/2014 22:12

I'm a bit bemused at Vickoi's childlike faith in the wonders of SEN provision in Birmingham. I think there are a few people on the SEN threads who could out her right.

Icimoi · 29/08/2014 22:14

I don't see why Elizabeth thought it was so urgent to get the locket to Roy anyway. She could just have left it in his office on Monday morning.

ZeroSomeGameThingy · 29/08/2014 22:40

She's a witch and he's a dickhead..

Thread title right there surely! Courtesy of Gypsy. Grin

(I am joking btw.)

TheOriginalSteamingNit · 29/08/2014 22:43

Ooh ooh, I wanna talk (about the archers) with you-oo

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 29/08/2014 22:47

Icimoi, I can understand completely why Vicky wouldn't want to send Bethany to a village school with no previous experience of DS.

Of course mainstream schooling should be available for all kids with SN but it doesn't mean it's the best thing for all of them.

Icimoi · 29/08/2014 22:54

TheOne, it's not just about the school, though, is it? It's stuff about how they write their statements, how ready they are to fund teaching assistants and therapists, what training they provide, etc etc etc.

Panzee · 29/08/2014 23:38

Just caught up. Nice one Freddie. Grin I assume he was trying to land Roy in it. Maybe he thinks it's a one way crush, but saw her mum so upset and went in for revenge for himself and Mum too? Not realising that Mama had been shagging the help.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 30/08/2014 00:24

If there aren't any papers in there Roy will bluff that its a present for Hayley that liz knew he wanted to give that weekend. He will explain away his initial shock at seeing it as purely a ruined surprise and her misconception this arising.

He will claim it is a present to day sorry for being a shit

Hayley will show it to liz who will get wildly jealous

unitarian · 30/08/2014 01:14

Its enough that 'Lizbeth has sent a heart shaped notelet to Roy. Hayley sounded as though she was putting two and two together very rapidly so Roy has to make some unconvincing explanation or he has to confess all.

It seems Freddie has sussed what's happening and has impulsively brought things to a head and maybe the unforgivable excuse that his ma was missing his father pushed him over the edge.

What were the terms of his inheritance? Does he own Loxley Hall or does he come into his inheritance at 21? The next 7 years could be interesting if Roy moves in with Lizzie, sees LH as his fiefdom and continues to shout at Freddie.
Though I will still put bets on Lizzie pulling up the drawbridge after Roy burns his mixed metaphor leaving him high and dry, up the creek without a paddle.

Sunday evening's will either be a humdinger of an episode or tantalisingly humdrum!
I have to take my hat off to the editor this week.

Icimoi · 30/08/2014 07:59

It's not a notelet, it's the locket he bought at Loxfest. It will all depend whether she accompanied it with a letter - which she probably did, silly bat.

PseudoBadger · 30/08/2014 09:14

Freddie ABSOLUTELY opened it, saw what was there and wanted to get revenge on them. He won't have thought about Hayley's pain.

I was thinking of something using "you must not overthink this.
You must just let it all wash over you" for the new thread?

OP posts:
R4 · 30/08/2014 10:38

New thread:

Loathsome Lizzie let go her locket,
it's a pity Freddie found it,
not a picture was there in it,
but only heartache abounds it.

ppeatfruit · 30/08/2014 10:49

Yes psuedo good one Grin

I've just listened again, blimey o reilly !! where was Mike when Roy almost told him everything, next door ? In the dairy?

PetulaGordino · 30/08/2014 11:42

Would Freddie really drop Roy and Elizabeth in it in that way? Realistically wouldn't he confront his mother rather instead?

Re the baby shower, clearly leonie was on board with it, but when Linda and Lilian were discussing it originally I did wonder at the potential AIBU there - "AIBU not to want to travel for miles to attend a baby shower being held by my SM and MIL a week after my giving birth?"

ppeatfruit · 30/08/2014 12:56

Petula I agree about driving all the way . I remember being instructed by the baby books not to drive for 6 weeks after giving birth. I took it seriously. Your brain's not back to reality a week after GB. Where was James ? He 'dve been on paternity leave surely?

unitarian · 30/08/2014 13:03

The locket! Not a notelet.
I must stop DH rustling round the kitchen when TA is on......

PetulaGordino · 30/08/2014 14:44

I'm sure there are women who could and would be happy with the idea, it's L&L deciding on it without checking with Leonie first that would get the MN YANBU I think!

GypsyFloss · 30/08/2014 16:04

Thanks Zero Grin

Icimoi · 30/08/2014 22:56

Do we think the reintroduction of Jess is an indication that the SWs have been reading this thread title?
