Tony's currently moonlighting as Mr Bennet in a Pride & Prejudice on R4 Grin

I admit that I actually cheered when he spelt out a few home truths to the smug, arrogant Sausage King, who will no doubt go crying to Grandma now, asking for more money and will, I hope, get into a mess

The worm will eventually turn.

I now understand the bedlinen scene. It was to give Hellin a small and inconsequential victory over the man who is shortly going to be controlling her every move. Rob may be able to dictate how she feels and what she wears, but at least she can out a pillow case on more quickly than he can. Touche!

....and .... I want Darryl! I want a scene with him re-aligning Jennifer's drawers!
Rob could have least have donated the bigamous bedlinen to him in his new home-to-be.

Cutted, I think the best thing then is for Darrell to come round to your house and tell you all about it one to one. Then the rest of us won't have to hear his irritating whine ever again. OK?

I hate Darrell. Whiny loser.

You see if I were tom I would be furious too. It seems tony has childishly gone out to buy these cows to spite him and it has a big impact on him and the family business. I thought it was a bit pathetic of tony tbh

I've maybe watched too much Breaking Bad but thought definitely Tony had a touch of the Walter Whites about him when he was telling the sausage king where to get off. Here's hoping he'll be cooking meth with Jazzer by the end of next week

That was so bad it was good!

I have timed the journey over to my BF's tonight so I can listen.

I have missed lots but what is Tony up to? I was so sorry when the dairy herd went (even Lonely Cow)?

I trust a handy sink hole has swallowed up Darrell and his daughter and nobody has noticed yet.

granny used to get quite annoyed at us giggling as no teenager was remotely interested in her Royal Doultom figurines. Bless her.

I hope Peggoi and Tony have a ding dong about the cows, and Tony tells her to get stuffed.

Does Rob stay with his wife sometimes or one night a week (e.g 14 Feb) without telling Helen? I was getting that impression but not heard this week's episodes.

Tom is really cheesed off and will be milking the situation for all it's worth. He'll have to butter Peggy up!

ZeroSomeGameThingy thanks for the welcome. TA has really stepped up a notch in the past few weeks.
I agree that Peggy has a very querulous voice & she annoys me. Why hasn't Alice voiced her disquiet over the lack of any inheritance?
I think that it is unrealistic that Peggy would essentially cut out the rest of her family in favour of sausage king & hellin.

Grin Bluestocking.

So, Rob. Overriding the Helen's concerns about Henry's safety. Followed by a public display of affection and ownership. Not looking good. In fact everything "nice" thing he does for her ,she laps them up and all the time he's in control and pulling those strings.

Go Pat saying no and putting down that phone. That has to the first time I've ever heard her to say no and stick to it.

Tony sounds so happy with his cowsis . Thanks Pseudo .
What's the chances of him now keeling over ?

Graceparkhill · 23/02/2014 19:30

I am guessing Rob will be removing the ladder so Henry can't leave his room in the middle of the night.

I think they didn't follow up the Paul EA thing because no way would Lillian allow herself to become a victim for long - she'd have cottoned on and LTB if it had gone on. Whereas this one could run for a long time.

Do we think Rob's cunning plan re asking Pat to babysit at short notice again was that there was a good chance she'd refuse, thus building up the wall he doubtless wants betwixt Helen and her parents? I can't imagine he wanted to see Oklahoma!

Displayed his true feeling about kids in the bed showroom .... what will happen when Henry gets out of his current enjoyment of having a 'daddy' figure and starts behaving normally badly?

Report
Songbird · 23/02/2014 20:39

errol I came on to say just that about Rob's 'last minute' tickets and hellin's babysitting request. He knew she'd either be too busy or would say no out of principal.

Report
HumphreyCobbler · 23/02/2014 21:13

I thought Pat was brilliant when she articulated why Helen was so at fault for mentioning that they must be missing Henry as a way of getting her to babysit. Perhaps SHE has been on the relationship boards? Grin

Mmmm - which Archer's character would use Mumsnet?

I think Brenda, that is why she LTB.
