Any Birmingham digital radio listeners out there?

Birdsong radio is back!!! But only for a few weeks.

Is digital radio regional? I thought that it covered everywhere but then I don't understand it.

There are national, regional, and more local multiplexors, I believe, but in the last 18ish months some commercial services have shut down (less appetite from commercial stations to pay for AM, FM, and DAB [and satellite too, for the very biggest])... which is why LBC 97.3 is no longer 'national' on DAB.

I find it a bit laughable that the BBC get no end of pro-DAB "experts" on who claim one cannot hear the difference, and 'dismiss' the problems of time lags {if you have different DAB sets in different rooms}...

... and I am really not convinced they would stay 'in sync' even if they were all from the same manufacturer... it's very unlikely in my view... unless you know different?
