Drag me kicking and screaming into the 21st century and show me how to use online radio

I like Women's Hour, but usually miss it. Apparently I can listen to it at any time I want using online radio. I just had a look at BBC iPlayer, but it brought me out in a rash.

Please help!

You'll see a list of recent and upcoming episodes - click on the one you want to listen to.

Then you'll see the page for that episode of Women's Hour. Click the play button on the main picture to play the episode.

Once you've got comfortable with that bit of the iPlayer, you can branch out and start searching for other programmes.

I just want to listen to today's programme.

Why oh why oh why (Disgruntled of Little Whingeing) can't it just be like opening a page of the Radio Times, and choosing by date and time?

This is the a-z list of all programmes by title. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/radio/a-z

Click on 'w' to get a list of all the programmes beginning with 'w'.

Then click on 'Woman's Hour' and you'll see the page for the most recent episode (plus previous episodes listed down at the bottom of the page).

Click the play button on the main picture to play the episode.

I downloaded the app - it works just like the Radio Times.

But it won't bloody play through my docking station.

If you ever get it to work, by pure chance (couldn't sleep) last night I caught the most recent Sunday Lunch with Hardeep what's his face (R4). Riveting! The format is a bit forced, but the story was fascinating. Haven't heard any others in the series so don't know if his guests are usually this interesting - it was the one about foundlings.
