Back to the work experience script writer last night I see.........

Minimammoth · 31/12/2013 10:40

Grinat work experience script writer.
Perhaps all the child bearing age women could be pregnant together. Sort of Alien invasion ish < over active imagination due to rich Christmas food>

Bluestocking · 31/12/2013 10:52

Great idea, Minimammoth! Like that book The Midwich Cuckoos - all the women could give birth to Ambridge Cuckoos who speak with unnatural stage school voices and then hatch a plot to SATTC.

No - it looks as if the "midnight surprise" and the reconciliation plan are two separate things....

teenybash7 · 31/12/2013 14:46

What's SWMNBN? Anyone - please?

LondonMother · 31/12/2013 15:01

She who must not be named. Her jnitials are GF and her surname might make you think of a car manufacturer. After a lawsuit all discussion of her many books is discouraged if not banned.

MissFenella · 31/12/2013 15:10

There is a visitor coming back that won't be welcomed by some that is for sure!

(not sure how you feel about spoilers so won't say unless prompted)

ZeroSomeFestiveGameThingy · 31/12/2013 15:19

Oooh! No - don't spoil. But what's your source?

ErrolTheDragon · 31/12/2013 15:51

The least welcome person in Ambridge is probably Clive Horrobin. But there's enough going on at the moment without throwing him back into play.

ZeroSomeFestiveGameThingy · 31/12/2013 16:19

What was Sid's daughter's name? (If the visitor is specific to the Bull...) Was she left a share of the business?

Who else? Sam? Prob not. Pavel?

Anyway I'm sure it's Brenda - wearing an entire Tiffanys store....

fluffiphlox · 31/12/2013 18:40

Lucy Perks

PseudoBadger · 31/12/2013 18:40

Just popping in to say happy new year to all my Archers friends!

OP posts:
Panzee · 31/12/2013 18:50

Happy new year to you all, and Pseudo's baby too. :o

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 31/12/2013 19:09

Happy new year all!
It's got to be Brenda, surely? Nobody has even mentioned her for weeks. And her reaction when she finds out about the engagement - Grin - it would be great. Let's hope she has some posh Hugo type on her arm ...

GypsyFloss · 31/12/2013 19:16

Happy New Year Pseudo and baby :)

So...Rosa and Darryl reconciliation . What a huge non surprise that is.

ZeroSomeFestiveGameThingy · 31/12/2013 19:22

Ho hum...

Nevertheless - THANK YOU FOR THE THREADS PseudoThanks

And thank you all for giving me people to share the Archers with. Thanks

Happy New Year everyone!

Bluestocking · 31/12/2013 19:35

I think the surprise was Helen getting back together with Rob, which gets a giant HO HUM from me. I just hope she goes home and doesn't give her poor long-suffering mother conniptions by not being there in the morning. That would be a good AIBU.

Redcliff · 31/12/2013 19:44

Zero - really racking my brains but can't work out who Peter is - can you put me out of my misery please ?

ZeroSomeFestiveGameThingy · 31/12/2013 19:53

Redcliff He's Christine's very absent son. I think he's a musician in Berlin (unless I've imagined that story...)

I'm always waiting for him to return but I suspect the SWs have accidentally scrubbed him off their reminders board.

MissFenella · 31/12/2013 20:03

nope none of them - source is look ahead bits in RT.

And whatever happened to 'Rich'? He was found and then completely ignored ever since.

TallGiraffe · 31/12/2013 20:47

Happy New Year to you all, looking forward to a new year of Archers analysis with you all

LondonMother · 31/12/2013 21:11

I don't think Peter has ever been a speaking character, has he? Maybe as a child, but not as an adult as far as I can recall (30+ years before the mast now).

Happy New Year, everyone!

Bluestocking · 31/12/2013 21:34

Happy New Year, you two!
