Why the hell has Edith bowman been axed for Huey when fucking annoying, "I was responsible for every event in rock music since 1980" Mary Anne Hobbs is still on both mornings at the weekend. Bloody annoyed.

That Saturday 10am spot is a thankless one - in our hearts it still belongs to Adam and Joe. Putting EB on then was never going to be the answer.

Oh I can't bear Mary Anne Hobbs, her voice sets my teeth on edge, especially on a weekend morning when I want someone with a bit of life about them. You're right Intertia about it belonging to Adam and Joe but given we're never going to get them back I suspect Edith would have been a better bet than MAH. MAH is just so sanctimonious and sounds whiney even when she isn't iyswim.

Joining in. I gave up 6music on Saturday mornings for Danny Baker on 5live eventually as I still miss Adam and Joe too.

I do quite like Mary Ann Hobbs and her gentle choice of music but get annoyed each time she says a track was "lifted from" and the we should keep it "locked" to 6 like a commercial radio DJ from 1992.

So pleased radmac were back this lunch time. It feels like a weight has been lifted!
