New thread!

Jazzer made as good a recovery from his brain damage as Ed did from his Crack habit...

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 07/09/2013 17:28

Where IS Jazzer? We haven't heard from him since the unbelievable flower competition storyline, have we?

LondonMother · 07/09/2013 17:48

I'm very tired of Darrell. He did (to quite a large extent) bring his troubles on himself by being weak and getting involved in criminal activity, not for the first time. He also has a very whiny voice. I hope he wanders into a slurry pit fairly soon so we can have one less annoying character in the village.

Panzee · 07/09/2013 18:36

Somewherebeyondthesea maybe he's still suffering from drinking the paint!

OliviaMMumsnet · 07/09/2013 19:48

oh.
I htought it was the date rape drug
Yes they do get over drugs pretty quickly ambridge way dont they
Maybe Darrell will get an alcohol problem - though there was the drunken vicar in AmEx too wasn't there?

Don't forget the arson fire at Brookfield too...

lottiegarbanzo · 07/09/2013 20:07

I think that's rohipnol isn't it? Something like that.

Drunken vicar? Not Alan surely?!

ErrolTheDragon · 07/09/2013 21:47

Shall we open a book on which unlikely person will win the rose competition as that seems to be the most exciting thing happening in Ambridge at the moment?

PseudoBadger · 07/09/2013 23:08

You mean like someone who's name begins with R?

OP posts:
PseudoBadger · 07/09/2013 23:08

Whose

I can't stand Ruth. I've never had much time for her but it's got worse recently. She really has only two modes, shouty and awed. They're both so irritating I could gnaw my own leg off when she gets going. I hope she's not on track to cut Helen out with Rob, as that would be (a) possibly fatal to my constitution and (b) a carbon copy of what happened with Sam, who had been going out with Kirsty, IIRC.

If she wins the rose competition, as she now seems certain to do, she will use her little quiety breathy 'Ooh-Deyvid-isn't-it-woonderfool' voice and I am quite likely to throw up.

PseudoBadger · 08/09/2013 08:45

Oh no what will be worse will be David's "Hey, I am proud of you love"

Anthea the Agony Aunt!

LondonMother · 08/09/2013 09:31

Pseudo, you are making me even more apprehensive. Is the F&P show tonight?

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 08/09/2013 10:28

Just listening to the omnibus. Surely Tom Archer - Businessman Extraordinaire would have a big enough cash reserve to tide him over short delays in payment? Cash flow is business lesson 101 ....

curlew · 08/09/2013 13:15

I know. He's been running a business for ages- one word from Rob and he overstretches himself. Bizarre.

Somethingyesterday · 08/09/2013 19:26

So - the good news is they appear to have listened. Kirsty and Tom have finally remembered that they share a past. The bad news is the use they made of it. Never thought Henry would be the one to rescue my ears from gruesomeness.

kiriwawa · 08/09/2013 20:07

God yes, Tom's business model is palpably hopeless.

I'm now hoping that Hellin/Rob get found out by Henry complaining to Pat about all the snogging going on around him - them and Tom. I want the lot of them busted and for Pat and Tony to sell the farm from under them and bugger off to an organic holiday resort with their pensions

PseudoBadger · 08/09/2013 20:08

DS is the same age as Henry. He would definitely be able to grass me up :o

OP posts:
kiriwawa · 08/09/2013 20:10

God yes Pseudo - children of that age are arch grasses :o

PseudoBadger · 08/09/2013 20:20

It must also be time for a focus on Nic again with only a few weeks to go (she and I have EDDs close to each other...). I predict an unplanned fast home birth? Maybe it could be a rehash of the Brookfield events of the other night, Steph could sort out a shoulder dystocia :o

OP posts:
OliviaMMumsnet · 08/09/2013 20:38

So Damian was the boyfriend....I did wonder.
What does Kirsty see in potential sausage mogul Tom??

LOL at Steph the midwife.

HumphreyCobbler · 08/09/2013 20:48

Just caught up with omnibus and thread

loving Big Farma Grin

SomewhereBeyondTheSea · 08/09/2013 20:57

Big Farma

Hookedonclassics · 09/09/2013 02:28

I used to be a big fan, but after the death by Bridge Farm ice cream and Clarrie's dirty hands I stopped listening so much and now only read the catch ups on the A Addicts website......

Kathy and Linda, how old are they? I think of them as being in their early 60s. Without being ageist surely they could be considering retirement. Kathy could tell Martin to "do one"

On another note, doesn't Hellin have a spectacularly bad taste in men - first grumpy Greg who topped himself, now Rob!
