Anyone here listen to AmEx and speak Russian?

What's going on?

I'm not up to full speed (with either my Russian or all the episodes so far), but in the opening episodes Vladimir and his dad don't say anything that's immensely revealing. There's a lot of 'We need to talk about this', and 'Tomorrow, then', and that sort of generic comment.

I've also just heard someone say 'Can I help you?' and then 'I don't speak English'.

I do - both. Nothing much said though. Definitely no spoilers. Am really enjoying this series of AmEx. Think now they are back in London there might not be any more, will keep an ear out though and report back...

I speak Russian, and Dima keeps calling Brenda "koshka" which is a female cat in Russian, so.... "Pussycat". Nothing wrong in that, but it's a bit creepy, Dima calling Brenda the same thing that Matt Crawford used to call Lilian, no? Could they really not find another pet name?

Hehe Jo, I did a comedy double take at the radio the other day when I caught that :)

I'm quite enjoying the Russian adventure but I know it wouldn't have the same appeal if I couldn't understand (most of) the Russian knew my degree would come in handy one day.
