Did anyone else hear the sad news yesterday? I always liked Jack: he was a nice businessman (compare and contrast with Brine or Tiger) although I did used to get annoyed when they portrayed him as a bit of a buffoon - you don't get to be that rich by being a total idiot.

That's sad - I hadn't realised that not only did Peggy's real-life husband develop dementia, that so did that real-life Jack as well. :(

Very sad. The Alzheimer's story line was v well done, I thought.

Apparently he was also the Grandad in the Werther's Originals ad too.

Aww . Do you think they'll keep Jack dragging on as a silent until there is a lull in storylines? I think so.

The script writers should release Peggy from her misery to go find the nice gent with the enamelling habit!

Peggy mentioned Jack to Elona last night and I found it quite odd as, in my mind, Jack is also dead now.

I'd quite like a story line where Peggy takes up with a gigolo and The Family are worried that he's after her money Grin
