I thought Iftikhar and Kirsty were love's young dream, when did that come to an end? And surely if he is of an age to go out with Kirsty without causing gossip, he is waaaaaaayyyyy too young for Elizabeth?

Eek, Elizabeth is my age, 46 (1967).

Iftakar is...unknown age.

Kirsty also unknown age but I think must be at least 30... Remember she went out with Tom who is 33 (even if he does act like a 13yo sometimes).

Kirsty seems to be the obligatory "spare female" of Ambridge, there to listen to various characters give their side of the story, occasionally offering mild support and encouragement to show that the speaking character isn't just having a narratively useful monologue which allows everyone to catch up on events. She can also usefully have sex with men in between them finding true love with a more established character. She'll probably be wheeled out to service Tom again for a while - I really do think she deserves better storylines.

I think Kirsty is a little older than Tom, remembering when she was first introduced to Ambridge (she was an anti-GM protester, wasn't she?)

So I'm guessing Kirsty is c. 34, Ifti is 38 (he just sounds 38 to me) and Elizabeth is a young and sprightly 46

She seems like she (and tom, Helen, et al) should be decades younger than Elizabeth.

She probably sleeps on a bench until she's required to turn up and feed lines to one of the wet female characters or cop off with one of the male ones . I've just checked on the Archers website (first time, honest) and even the actor who plays her says: "I feel she's lost her way a bit." To compound how uninterested the writers are in her, the very first part of her biography has a massive uncorrected typo in it.
