And about time too. Except that I don't believe the stuff about not wanting babies after the way she has been with Bethany. Did she just say that to put Tom off?
Can I have a rant about Pat. All that fuss about 'we are a dairy farm, I've been around cows all my life blah blah blah'. Has Pat ever had anything to do with the herd, apart from processing the milk. She wasn't the one doing the milking every morning and evening.
So, yet again, I am bemused by Bridge Farm economics. It's not that long since they bought the freehold so they must still have a huge mortgage. If they get rid of the herd then what are they going to do with the land - it's got to produce an income somehow. Are they really going to drop something which currently makes money for Tom's pie-in-the-sky, might-work/might-not-work plan. In the middle of a recession? Does not compute unless Pat & Tony suddenly go capitalist and rent out the land or build a mini housing estate. I can't wait for Brine's reaction.
