Ok, my archers listening has been haphazard in recent months, but when did Lizzie decide to forgive David for his "crime"
Listened today on catchup, and was amazed that they appear to be best buds again, spending Christmas together!

It happened when David & Ruth were under siege from the gang that attacked Adam, culminating in the barn being set on fire in the middle of the night. Elizabeth started to thaw when she understood they were in possibly real danger, especially the children. Also she was questioning her own judgment a bit after allowing Freddie to ride Nigel's horse and he got thrown & broke his collar bone.

I was remembering how Nigel's death was going to shake Ambridgevto the core and have repercussions that would last for generations.

I guess they got bored with all that and decided to wrap it all up in 18 months .

I was just thinking shaking ambridge to the Cote has been a but if a damp Squibb!

Yep, the "shaken to the core" has not lasted long!!
Like the swop shop at the shop for a while, talked about incessantly for 2 months, til you wanted to scream, and then never ever mentioned again.

If Lillian does get together with Paul then does that mean she will join him (? in the Cotswolds, is it?) and leave Ambridge?

Tis true about 'doing an Emmur'. They are recycling too many old stories; can they not think of any new ones. Talking of the younger Grundys, it was good to hear Eddie giving Willyum an earful - it's about time!

Rats, I missed that. Really felt for Emma recently, especially when she was going without food so that the children could eat properly. At least there's a plan now.

Yes, Eddie was really impressive giving Willyum that piece of his mind! Ed is such a lovely young man, though I fear Emmur is a bit of a drudge/nag sometimes. Get to the Benefits Office girl!
