I do hope the next big story isn't them getting payday loans...

We know how the SW do this now. They do a story to death for six weeks and then dump the characters for the next big plot.
I a not going to listen to Emmurr whingeing (nor Willyum, come to that) for the next month and a half. My eardrums will implode!

I came on here to start just such a thread! Ridiculous situation, she drives me round the bend!

Why doesn't she just tell Will that he needs to pay or help pay for his son to do the class?

Oh she couldn't do that could she? And the fact that the school letter even said you could pay by installments, and she refused to! Pay day loans a surety I think.

I can write the script I think.

"Oh dear Georgie I can't afford food/nappies/heat this month, and because I got my wages early it's ages until I get paid.
I know, I'll give Winga Loans a call. But don't tell Ed will you!"

Just caught up with last night's episode - maybe it's going to be a custody battle AND a payday loan!

Unfortunately the likelihood is that those who would use payday loans and get hammered with debt as a consequence are not exactly radio 4's core audience so are less likely to "learn their lesson" than fall victim to the catchy radio adverts on the commercial music stations (caught my kids singing along- AARGH!)

I did like Emmur saying to Ed. jun. in clipped tones 'don't be difficulttt' though. But exactly what you said Duane of course she would've asked Will to pay for George's lessons.

Just listened to last night's episode. Surely Ed's got to sell the herd hasn't he? Things will be totally dreadful, he'll run away somewhere, possibly attempt suicide, blah blah blah, then he'll get a job in the Supa Dairy and all will be forgotten.
