Goodness! just heard a chilling promo ad for tonight's episode. I am still listening to the omnibus and when I fell asleep last night Kenton and Rooth were en route to pick the kids up.
(so no spoilers)
But where is PIP? is she staying at Spencers? Or is she at Heathers too?
I am so worried for them.

I used Listen again to catch up with Wednesday and Thursday. End of Wednesday's episode had me in tears.

Someone fill me in? I had to go away without radio for four days.
I heard the fire start and that's all I know until today's repeat with Emmur dobbing in Keith (?) Horrobin.
DP told me that Josh was dead.

No, not dead; he was just looking after a cow that was calving and didn't think to mention it to anyone except George, who was with him. (As you do when there's a big fire and your parents are running around searching for you and screaming your name.)

So... what was the damage exactly?

Josh was put in charge of a cow that was about to drop. Gina (the cow) decided to give birth in the middle of the night so Josh was with her. George asked to watch (because,since his family has been in dairy farming for generations, he has never seen a cow give birth before) so Josh got him up too, unbeknownst to Ed&Em.
So Josh, George and cow were inside the barn when A Baddie decided to set light to it. Lots of panicing by assorted parents. Turns out the lads realised the danger and took the cow down to the paddock and hence weren't around to hear the hysterical 'where are you's.
All people and livestock fine but barn raised to the ground.

Later at the wedding, Em has a conversation with Keith where it transpires that he thought Em and children were still seeking safety back at Susan's. Reading between the lines Em realises that he is distraught beause he has twigged that his, or his mates', actions endangered Family.

While we're at it, who is Keith and why do we need him?

who is Keith he is one of Susan's many siblings. He was father of the bride last Friday (an expensive business, which he has mysteriously been able to afford).

why do we need him because the Grundys have gone sort-of respectable. We need some 'rude mechanicals' to look down our MC noses at laugh at, and the Horrobins currently fit the bill.

Why are Fallon and that milkman bloke going away together? I thought she was head over heels about him but he was involved with the foreign strawberry picker girl?

Clueless to all except about Emmmur. Emmur thought Keith overacted when he heard that they'd be searching for young George at the fire at Brookfield barns. He was super concerned and had a limp ( so case closed).
Emmur phoned up that helpline to report naughty people. Keith got taken into questioning. Susan and Tracy were " oh he's an innocent man". Emmanuel kept silent until he got taken in for questioning again and Tracy guessed it was Emmur who grassed on him cos she woukdnt stick up for Keith. Big row followed.

The Fallon and Harry thing was totally spur-of-the-moment.
Fallon: I'm due some holiday, I think I'll go away in the camper van
Harry: that sounds nice
Fallon: do you want to come too?
Harry: uh, OK

I'm not sure why Tracee is being quite so supportive/defensive about Keith. Is she worried about the good name of the Horrobins (hah!) or is there more to it than that? The lady doth protest too much?

Ooh thank you. I am now v excited about Fallon/Harry being squished into the v small camper van and going to Edinburgh for theatrical titillation. Twas SO meant to be.
But has Harry given up on the foreign gfriend? I thought she had moved in with him?

Emma actually saw the arsonist limping away from the fire & shouted after him, & there was something about the way she shouted that sort of suggested she had an idea who it was (though she stopped short of shouting "Oi, Uncle Keith!" )

& certainly at the wedding he kept saying "I'm so sorry. I didn't know you were there" in a way that was apologetic rather than sympathetic/concerned

plus he spent a fortune on the fancy wedding.

Zofia went back to Poland (?) didn't she - and that seemed to have been the end of it. I think there was some mention at the time of Harry moping around, and then the whole thing was dropped never to be mentioned again.

Hi pond. Oh! annoying I usually listen to the repeat on next p.m., so will know what happened today. No one noticed a forage harvester disappearing then? Was it from the Aldridges? We live between rural Fr. and London some of the agri. machines here are SOOOO enormous you'd def. notice someone who didn't know how to drive one!!

Did anyone else wonder about Adam and the polish chap he was talking to? It was a bit "ohhhhh you work so hard" and flirty? I had to shush DS1 and then relisten. He's been a bit off with his boyfriend recently (name escapes me) - is a dangerous liaison in the hit tub in the cards.

Tracy is horrible. All of them making poor Emmmuuurr doubt herself.
