at tonights ep... good on usha! I wanted her to let rip a lot more!!!

I hope there's more fisticuffs to come... with it ending in Amy realising how spoilt, brattish and ridiculous she is being!!!

I thought Usha was quite believable in getting cross tonight...

I'm not sure how old Amy is supposed to be (about 23?), but she is being a bit brattish about all of this - letting Usha rather than Carl being the receptacle for her anger just because Usha is within reach, yadda yadda.

Mind you, I think the whole storyline is a bit . Hard to believe that Usha wouldn't have shared the info about Carl with Alan in the first place, especially for 10 days or whatever it was supposed to be.

I thought Usha was rather magnificent. Funny, I'd been thinking just the other day that she couldn't possibly be 50, she sounds too girlish, but she sounded like a real woman last night!

I enjoyed last nights scene as well, Amy has indeed been acting like a big spoilt brat, if she hates being at home so much that she would rather be at work,then maybe she should move out and leave Alan and Usha in peace.

Yea - finally - go Usha! Far too much being patient and forbearing going on. She went out with him for a very short while, he turned out to be a bad 'un and she got hurt. The world moves on. Humouring her tantrums is really not going to help - she will be in danger of turning into Helen...

Hecate, yes they did like each other. We've recently been reminded of this - Usha telling Ruth she loved Amy as if she were her own daughter; Amy telling Alice she had till recently thought of Usha almost as a mother to her. (I personally thought that was gilding the lily a bit.)

Agree that Alice should speak sense to Amy.

Listening to Tuesday's now - why doesn't Alice tell her to get a grip? Or tell her to ring Carl and demand some answers? And Amy - 'Usha's got an agenda'? WTF???? What agenda?

Yes me too Caro at last Usha!! Amy certainly deserved that and more actually !! I like that actress it's good to hear her let rip!!! Although would Alice's interference be welcome?
