Something I realised about The Archers today...

Nobody ever goes to the hairdressers or the dentist! Can you just imagine the state of their hair and teeth????
I bet David has skanky dreadlocks and no teeth and don't even get me started on Shula with her halitosis.

But they do go for spa treatments at Grey Gables. Sounds a bit fur coat and no knickers ...

At least they have discovered telephones now and no longer feel the need to have all conversations face to face.

But they still regularly just bump into each other, if I just bumped into people I knew that often I'd go insane and have to move

I'm amazed Shula actually gets anywhere on her horse because every time she's out on it she has a lengthy convo with someone.

And why don't they have discussions through the toilet door like normal families? Do they not poo?

iwastooearly ermmmm it's a story? not real? saying that I have to do admit I sometimes think it's real too !

Poor Archers. They only have 12 minutes per day to get through their lives and they have to do a lot of talking ... so obviously they haven't got time for personal maintenance (the cows would come first anyway).

I expect it happens when they pop into Borsetshire. That seems to be the default destination for all things out of Ambridge.

I always wonder on all soaps tv and radio, why they don't watch soaps
