it makes me want to throw myself under a bus.

And Tony's whingeing is unbearable. Altho I don't know why he doesn't get a big shotgun, point it at his vile son and march him off the property.

Honestly if what's his name wants the yard cleared he can DO IT HIMSELF!

So dull, and Ruth bidding for Harry and the women all nudging each other and guffawing it's so undignified.

And Linda sulking over her godforsaken llamas... she does sulk just like a friend of mine though....

I totally sgree on the Tom issue, I am also hoping he is going to be escorted from the premises with a large shotgun aimed at his lazy bottie Grin.

Noellefielding · 23/02/2012 21:34

Like your use of the word "bottie" that's how we roll in this house.

He's such a little pushy robot but Tony is competing with him for being the most unbearable characters at the moment.

I just realised Neil and Susan have a much better sex life than me! They have got smoochy twice in as many weeks.

I don't think Tony is moaning at all, he's just had it with Tom wanking on about the relaunch, which by the way what has that got to do with tidying the yard? Tom is too busy peddling vile sounding pork lasagne all round the county. They need that Alex Polizi The Fuxer woman from bbbc2 to sort them.

And please tell me why Kylie is so friendly with Tony and Pat? I really don't get that bit, I know about Rich, but where does she fit in?

Finally, Alan and Usha, can vicars have intercourse in Ambridge?

GrimmaTheNome · 23/02/2012 23:48

I missed it today. So was/will there be a fracas when Eddies 'generous offer of a water feature' transpires to be an offer to install a water feature bought by the person who wants it (I'm sure that's what he said originally)

I'd have paid a tenner for the llamas.

GrimmaTheNome · 23/02/2012 23:51

They have got smoochy twice in as many weeks.
you don't think....hmm, Susan's late 40's, its not beyond the bounds of possibility... that'd really put Emmurs back out...

Ponders · 23/02/2012 23:54

yes, there was a bit, Grimma - Mike bought it - was somewhat miffed!

(but yes, you're right, that's exactly what Eddie said in the first place, it got overlooked /converted in the subsequent "send three & fourpence" repetition)

caro, Kylie actually lived at Bridge Farm a bit when she was little & remembers it (& them). I agree it was very clunky shoe-horning her back in like that

shot bottie is exactly what Tom needs Hmm

CuttedUpPear · 23/02/2012 23:55

Yes Neil wasn't very pleased in the pub when Eddie asked him for £95.99 for the water feature.

Do you think Susan will get up the duff? That's what happens every time someone on TA gets jiggy. Or it's a prelude to a heart attack/sudden mechanical accident. Noone on TA has sex without there being consequences.

GrimmaTheNome · 24/02/2012 00:01

"send three & fourpence" repetition

I wonder whether youngsters will get that - it was one of those things my DM used to trot out Smile

I think 'doing jiggy' once is ok but twice in as many weeks... its bringing me out in a rash of ellipses.

ahandbag · 24/02/2012 10:54

Was just about to start a threat on Susan and Neil as I have just finished listening to yesterday's episode....

Aaarrghhh my ears my ears, I really really REALLY don't need to hear that or any other kind of smooching on TA.

But I can't wait to see what medical misfortune is about to fall at Tony's door rubs hand with eager anticipation needs to get a life Grin

bea · 26/02/2012 22:52

never mind susan and neil... who remmebers the horror that was sid and jolene in the shower...!! Shock... now that really took the Biscuit!!!!!

Ponders · 26/02/2012 23:23

I was hoping nobody would mention that, bea

ahandbag · 27/02/2012 09:23

Shock bea....must have missed that one, thanks for, err, bringing it to my attention Grin

heronsfly · 27/02/2012 11:26

I think I prefer the smooching over Rutheee's crying !

Ponders · 28/02/2012 19:07

Tony's obviously read the book on heart attack symptoms

CuttedUpPear · 28/02/2012 19:10

I knew it!

GrimmaTheNome · 01/03/2012 15:10

Itwas only a matter of time once I'd heard Lillian telling Tom to cut the old man some slack, but I managed to miss it and only caught a few minutes last night. In which it appeared Tom comes up smelling of roses because he found Tony and got help quickly. Hmm

I do like the way David and Brian show up to do milking and see if they can help though- feuds put aside.

jodevizes · 11/03/2012 12:12

Although with Brians snooty voice I can't help thinking that he has a silent butler doing the milking while Brian looks on.

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 12/03/2012 17:12

Brian's now done the veg boxes with Helen twice! Knowing his history I am expecting some sort of steamy action over the leeks any minute.

GrimmaTheNome · 12/03/2012 17:40

Even Brian isn't that bad - he's her uncle FGS.

Which reminds me of something thats been bothering me. If Jennifer, Lillian and Tony are siblings (I have got that right haven't I?) how come their accents are all so different? Posh Jenny, pretty normal Tony and - well, goodness knows what Lillian's is.

CuttedUpPear · 12/03/2012 21:33

Yes, why does Tony sound so common?
We demand to know!

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 13/03/2012 10:33

I don't know Grimma, this is a man who had a child with another woman and then expected his wife to look after it. Hardly full of integrity and common decency. Though I suppose it might be a bit of a step too far into the realms of tv soap style yukkyness.

Damn good point about the accents! I had never thought about that, it is very odd indeed...hmmm...

GrendelsMum · 25/03/2012 19:53

Yes, you're right about the accents. Very odd.

CuttedUpPear · 26/03/2012 09:55

I'm sure that if we ventured onto Mustardland (Archers BBC website)they would be able to explain the accents anomaly.

Is anyone brave enough to look?
