Is it just me or is the way Tom Archer talks to or about Henry a bit creepy?

Everything Tom Archer says and does is creepy...

agreed.

But also the way hes been talking to Brenda gives me the heebie jeebies.
Are they not engaged? Why havent' they got married yet?

Tom is deeply offensive every time he opens his mouth. Am off to listen to the omnibus now.

He & Brenda haven't got married because Brenda is trying to think of ways to extricate herself from the relationship without Tom coming after her with an axe.

Actually Artex, Will Grundy is also creepy, yes. When Nick sops on about 'lucky' she is, I shudder. For some reason it reminds me of when the blind woman goes on a date with the serial killer in 'Manhunter'.

Possibly I am thinking too much about this...

I thought Brenda had turned down Tom's marriage proposal...or had she just been so vague about it that it was basically a refusal. She certainly sounded like she was going to collapse in horror at the idea of having a baby with him.

I have also never understood why Nick is with Will. He is a moany sod and it's not like the game keepers have a great history in Ambridge. In fact now I think about it there really are an amazing lack of nice, sane young men in the Archers.

at one stage I thought will as going to murder either ed or emma.

Hate Tom's voice. Don't know why, there's just something about the way he speaks.

Me too Kitty - he always sound slightly exasperated and patronising, like noone else 'gets it', whatever 'it' is. Just so annoying. But not as annoying as the way Alice talks, she's always making this funny half-groan which is bad enough when combined with kissy noises with Chris, but just plain weird when she's talking to anyone else. Cannot stand her.

He does have a voice you want to slap that Tom.
