I think Alisdair would tell Shula, don't you? Very uncharacteristic. Mind you, he does have form for hiding stuff....But you would have thought he'd have learned his lesson.

Yes, seeker, he does have form. But aren't the stables next to his practice? I think that Erin's going to go a little bit Fatal Attraction on him...I have half listened to yest's episode.

You can download it as a podcast. Trouble is, nothing ever seems to be resolved- there's the what's her name Aldridge girl and her loan shark stalker, Jamie and the car crash, what's happened to those story lines, I'd like to know

Think she fessed all up to him.
And Jamie got off cos it wasn't him was it.
BUt yes, it is all VEH serious in Extra and then one casual remark in the omnibus.

Oh and I just heard a tiny bit involving Cloive doing something criminal (I think!) and talking about 'crawford' did he mean Mat Crawford? What was THAT all about??

Alistair's in trouble now, she is sooooo going to go all Fatal Attraction. If only he hadn't kissed her back (which he so did! How icksome was that?)

Is she chasing him too? Euuurghhh! Shock

I was listening a few weeks ago (with school aged kids in the room) and had to rush to turn it off as it was obvious Daniel was about to "get lucky".
Then last week? yet again I had to run to turn it off as I couldnt bear listening to Alistair and his 'thoughts'

I love The Archers and I did love the previous series of Ambridge Extra but this new series is not for me.

I know, so cringeworthy! She's chasing him, and he's just appreciating her 'freshness' in a red-blooded male kind of way. He knew she was getting a bit inappropriate but (conveniently) convinced himself he was imagining it. She then kissed him and for a moment he kissed her back, then pushed her away. She is now being a bit psycho. As ever with these things, he should have fessed up to Shula straight away, but he's said nothing, Erin's going to be even more stalkerish and it's going to kick off in grand style.

Not unlike Chaz and Alice in the last series now I think of it!

The internal dialogue is not working IMO, but it's the kissing noises that really get me.

TBH IMO Ambex. is too much; there's enough going on in RL and the few soaps I listen to (apart from Downton i HATE T.V.soaps) to add extra! They could make the normal Archers a bit longer couldn't they?
